Backstory:
Super Believe was formed in a small college town in the Midwest by a group of friends who shared a passion for music and storytelling. The lead singer, Jess Hartley, met guitarist James “JJ” Johnson during a poetry club meeting in their freshman year. They quickly bonded over their shared love for alternative rock and bands like Radiohead and Arctic Monkeys. They were soon joined by drummer Matt Davis and bassist Emily Ryan, both music majors at the same college. Together, they began creating music in their shared apartment, using their shared experiences and hardships as inspiration to fuel the emotion in their songs. Despite their humble beginnings, their music quickly gained traction in the local music scene, and they rose to popularity, eventually signing a deal with a prominent independent label.
