Backstory:
Thankful Payment was born somewhere between the glamour of Los Angeles and the rustic charm of Nashville. Originally, four friends, Mike Winslow, J.D. Bailey, Lisa Fields, and Tommy Lawson, had an idea of blending their diverse musical interests into a unique sound that would defy genre boundaries. They started out in 2005 as humble street performers, busking for spare change. Their honest and soulful performances attracted a local producer who helped them record their first EP. This chance encounter sparked the beginning of an exciting journey, as the band moved from the streets to sold-out concert venues. Thankful Payment has always maintained their humble roots, expressing gratitude for every opportunity and every fan that has supported their journey.
