Backstory:
Well-Informed Idea is a band birthed out of a late-night jam session in a college dorm room in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 2016. Founders and bandmates Jacob Strasser (vocals) and Mia Hamilton (bass) were studying at Harvard’s School of Music when they discovered a shared passion for dynamic, thought-provoking music that tells a story. With the addition of drummer Alex Turner and guitarist Lola Rodriguez, Well-Informed Idea solidified their line-up and began their musical journey.

Despite being busy with their studies, they dedicated their free time to writing and rehearsing, with every member contributing to the creative process. Their shared knowledge and passion for numerous musical genres resulted in a unique sound, which quickly gained them a loyal following around the Cambridge area. After graduating, they took a leap of faith and moved to Los Angeles, where they continued to grow their fanbase and establish themselves within the music industry.
