Backstory:

Suspicious Drum was formed in the heart of Seattle, Washington, in late 2017. The band consists of four members: lead vocalist and drummer Jacob “Jake” Hanson, guitarist Ethan Moore, bassist Sarah “Sunny” Jones, and keyboardist Alex “Lex” Davis. Jake, who had spent a few years busking downtown, decided to create a band that would combine his love of drums and suspiciously catchy lyrics. He met Ethan and Sunny at a local open mic night, where they were performing as a duo. Jake was impressed with their talent and proposed forming a band. Lex, Jake’s childhood friend and a self-proclaimed synth nerd, joined the group shortly after, completing the line-up.

Suspicious Drum began by playing gigs at local bars and small music festivals, gradually gaining a following thanks to their infectious tunes and high-energy performances. Their big break came in 2019 when they were spotted by a prominent music producer, who was impressed with their unique sound and signed them to his record label. Since then, Suspicious Drum has been steadily rising in popularity, charming audiences with their eclectic music style and captivating stage presence.
