Title:
“Subway Serenade”
Full song lyrics:
[Verse 1]
G C Em D
Down in the heart of the concrete jungle,
Where the subway runs wild and free,
Walk the souls with stories untold,
Living life in a ceaseless spree.
[Verse 2]
G D Em C
Scribbling notes on the backs of tickets,
Strumming chords on the battered guitar,
In the roar of the train, I weave my refrain,
Underneath the city’s burning star.
[Chorus]
G C Em D
This is my Subway Serenade,
To the lost, the brave, the unafraid.
With every note, I hope to ignite,
The endless dreams that light the night.
[Verse 3]
G D Em C
From the Wall Street suits to the artists keen,
Every soul, a story in their eyes.
This is my song, for the right, for the wrong,
For those chasing the city’s moonlit skies.
[Chorus]
G C Em D
This is my Subway Serenade,
To the broken, healed, the unswayed.
In every beat, I strive to convey,
The rhythm of life, in disarray.
[Bridge]
G D Em C
In the heart of the Bronx, I found my voice,
In the rumble of tracks, I made my choice.
To sing, to strum, to guide the way,
With my threadbare guide, till the break of day.
[Chorus]
G C Em D
This is my Subway Serenade,
To the dreamers, lovers, the unplayed.
With every chord, I hope to remind,
Of the beauty in life, often left behind.
