Backstory:
Tragic Discovery was formed in the sleepy, rustic town of Lansing, Michigan, in 2011. The band consists of three life-long friends: frontman and guitarist, Mitch Harris, drummer, Darren Clark, and bassist, Tim “The Hawk” Hawkins. The trio grew up together, bonding over their shared love for music, and decided to form a band after a particularly inspirational local music fair. Their journey was not without its struggle; the name ‘Tragic Discovery’ was born from their shared experiences of heartbreak, loss, and eventually, resilience. Determined to express their raw emotions through music, they poured their heart and soul into their lyrics, creating a unique sound that resonated deeply with their listeners.
