Backstory:
Uncomfortable Advice was conceived in the wailing winds and rain-soaked streets of Portland, Oregon. Formed by childhood friends, singer/songwriter Lee Harper and lead guitarist Simon ‘Rusty’ Russell, they began their musical journey in a tattered garage tucked away from the city’s buzzing nightlife. Both finding solace in their shared love for music during their tumultuous teenage years, they started writing songs that resonated with their experiences. Their poetic lyricism and soul-stirring melodies caught the attention of local audiences, leading to a record deal with indie label, Rattle Records.
