Backstory:

Unfit Bed emerged from the boisterous back alleys of New York City, formed in 2010 by childhood friends, lead vocalist and guitarist Sam Turner and bassist Joshua Reed. Sam, a former bookshop employee and Joshua, a part-time bartender, found solace in their shared passion for music amidst the city’s chaos. They were later joined by drummer Alex Marshall and keyboardist Sylvia Martinez, who brought a new dynamism to their sound. The band earned their name from their first unofficial studio – a dilapidated loft with a broken down bed that they deemed “unfit” but nevertheless served as their creative haven.
