Backstory:
Unfolded Loaf was formed in the quirky town of Laughlin, Nevada, during a time when the heat was unbearable, and the only solace was in music. Four close friends, Bart, Harmony, Stevie, and Luka – each from different musical backgrounds – found a common bond in their shared love for bread and their passion for creating unique and soulful tunes. Bart was a baker, Harmony was a lyricist, Stevie was a singer, and Luka was a calendar model turned drummer. The band was named after Bart’s specialty, an unusually large and uncut loaf of bread, reflecting the band’s love for the unconventional.
Their first basement jam session, filled with smell of fresh bread and unrestrained creativity, led to an accidental experimentation with music that no one could pigeonhole. An eclectic mix of genre-bending tunes started pouring out from them, creating something entirely unique. Unfolded Loaf took off when they won a local talent hunt, and their journey from a basement band to a national sensation was as spontaneous and heartwarming as the bread that inspired their name.
