“Facade of Freedom”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Am (C) G
In this city of dreams, we’re lost in the noise,
Am (C) G
Chasing shadows and echoes, with no real voice.

(Chorus)
D (Em) C G
Facade of Freedom, we’re enslaved to the grind,
D (Em) C G
Trapped in a maze, but we’re pretending we’re fine.

(Verse 2)
Am (C) G
We wear our hearts on our sleeves, yet feel so alone,
Am (C) G
In the crowd, yet stranded, far from home.

(Chorus)
D (Em) C G
Facade of Freedom, in this concrete jungle,
D (Em) C G
We’re just lost souls, in a city that crumbles.

(Ending)
D (Em) C G
Facade of Freedom, we’re longing to break free,
D (Em) C G
In this city of dreams, we’re just trying to be.
