Backstory:
The origins of “Courageous Meat” trace back to a sun-drenched California in 2010, where four university students with a mutual love for music decided to start an informal jamming session in their basement. These sessions soon began to attract attention from their peers, and with the encouragement of their friends, they decided to form a band. The name “Courageous Meat” was suggested by their vocalist, who was previously a vegetarian but decided to take a leap of faith into carnivorous tendencies which he felt reflected their daring approach to music. Their rise to fame was gradual and organic, rooted in the underground music scene, and their journey was fueled by a deep-seated passion for making music that goes against the grain.
Genre:
The genre of Courageous Meat can be best described as Alternative Rock with a streak of Psychedelic Pop, blending raw vocal energy, unique and earthy guitar tones, and lyrics that challenge societal norms.
