Voluminous Sock is a four-piece band formed in 2009 in the vibrant corners of New York City. The members, Miles (vocals and bass), Terry (guitar), Levi (keyboard), and Kit (drums), were childhood buddies who shared a deep-rooted love for music. What began as late-night jamming sessions in Terry’s garage during their high school years slowly evolved into a celebrated musical phenomenon. They derived their quirky name from a funny childhood memory – a time when they had to stuff Miles’ oversized shoes with socks for a school performance.
