Backstory:
Green Territory began its journey in the heart of Memphis, Tennessee, in 2013. Its founding members, Levi Johnson and Owen Harper, were college roommates who shared a common love for music and environmental activism. Drawing inspiration from their love for Mother Earth, they decided to make music that would create awareness about environmental issues and promote sustainable living. They named their band ‘Green Territory’ to reflect their commitment to environmental preservation.

As they began creating music, they were joined by drummer Grant Simmons and bassist Riley Williams, further strengthening their band and its mission. Together, they have been using their music not just to entertain but also to educate. Their concerts are known for their eco-friendly setups, including solar-powered instruments and recycled goods merchandise.

Their favorite fan is a young woman named Maya Moore. Maya is an environmental science student who is equally passionate about music and the environment. She fell in love with Green Territory’s music the first time she heard “Forests Weep, Rivers Sing.” Maya says, “Their music resonates with my soul, it gives voice to the emotions I feel towards our planet.
