Formed in the bustling city of Austin, Texas, in 2012, Weary Taxation started as a trio of long-time friends who had spent their college years studying fine arts and music. After they found themselves working taxing day jobs in different fields, they decided to channel their dissatisfaction and weariness into music, as a form of catharsis. Thus, “Weary Taxation” was born. Over the years, they’ve managed to gather a solid fan base, with their emotionally charged lyrics and unique sound resonating with many. They are now renowned for their live performances, where they pour out all their emotions and connect with their audience on a personal level.
