The story

Formed in 2018 in the suburbs of Portland, Oregon, Well-Lit Bathroom began as an inside joke between longtime friends and housemates, Jamie Lin (vocals/guitar), Casey Mendez (bass), and Riley Park (drums). After countless late-night jam sessions in their shared bathroom—chosen for its perfect acoustics and enchanting lighting—they found themselves writing songs about everyday anxieties and fleeting joys, all framed by the quirks of domestic life. The trio quickly realized their bathroom-born sound was something special.

Playing in local coffee shops and DIY venues, Well-Lit Bathroom became known for their quirky lyricism and catchy melodies, blending witty observations with an earnest, feel-good vibe. Their tongue-in-cheek band name is a nod to those vulnerable moments of inspiration that happen under fluorescent lights, echoing their mission to find the extraordinary in the mundane.

Indie Pop with elements of Lo-fi and Alternative Rock
