Winding Run

Backstory:
The roots of ‘Winding Run’ trace back to the tranquil town of Aylesbury, England, where childhood friends Sam Huntington and Francis Stewart discovered their shared love for music. At the age of 15, they started playing at school events and local pubs, catching the attention of fellow classmates Violet Thompson (drummer) and Emma Parker (bassist). Together, they formed the band ‘Winding Run’, named after the local river they often visited. They practiced in Sam’s garage, recording their sessions on an old cassette player. Their sound, a blend of heartfelt lyrics and evocative melodies, started gaining recognition in the local music scene. The band was soon signed by independent record label, ‘Endless Echo’, launching their journey into the music world.

Title:
“Echoes in the Wind”

Song Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
Em G D A
In the heart of Aylesbury, under the English sun,
Em G D A
Streets that whisper stories, where we’ve run.
Em G D A
Times of laughter, times of pain,
Em G D A
In its echoes, we remain.

[Chorus]
C G D Em
Echoes in the wind, carry us home,
C G D Em
Under the bridge, where we used to roam.
C G D Em
Winding river runs, as our songs unfold,
C G D Em
Echoes in the wind, tales untold.

[Verse 2]
Em G D A
Friendships woven in the canvas of time,
Em G D A
Strumming melodies, crafting rhyme.
Em G D A
In our hearts, the music burns,
Em G D A
On the path of ‘Winding Run’ returns.

(Repeat Chorus)
