Backstory:

Formed in the heart of Detroit in 2011, ‘Worn Session’ was an outcome of four college friends who shared a love for music. Composed of lead vocalist and guitarist Jack Kingston, bassist Ethan Moore, drummer Alex Bates, and keyboardist Liam Turner, these friends decided to take their garage jamming sessions to the next level after winning a local battle of the bands. Their unique sound and raw talent quickly caught the attention of a local record label, and they released their first album in 2013, gaining a loyal fan base.

Despite an initial burst of success, the band faced several obstacles, including a major lineup change when Alex Bates left the band due to personal reasons. The band had to regroup and redefine its sound. They emerged from this period stronger than ever, with a greater sense of identity and a more refined sound. Today, ‘Worn Session’ is known for their emotive lyrics, captivating rhythms, and deep-rooted authenticity that resonates with their audience.
