Backstory:

Sore Planet hails from the bustling city of Austin, Texas. Established in 2017, the band is made up of four college dropouts who decided to pursue their passion for music. The band includes lead singer, Finn, a former biology major, jazz guitarist, Liam, a one-time business major, hard-hitting drummer, Lucas, an erstwhile engineering student and talented bassist, Parker, who left his studies in philosophy behind. The four met in the college music room and instantly bonded over their shared disillusionment with academia and love for music. They started jamming together and soon, Sore Planet was formed. Their name was chosen to reflect their concern about environmental issues and they often use their music to voice their thoughts on the matter.

Knobby Flag formed in the gritty backstreets of Nashville, Tennessee, in 2007. The band was initially composed of the dynamic duo, Chad Turner and Darren McCullogh. The two friends shared a single room apartment, where they would jam out on their second-hand instruments, creating a fusion of country, blues, and punk. They often played in dive bars and street corners, surviving on tips and the love for their music. Their big break came when music producer, Ronnie Hill, heard them perform at a local music festival.
