Backstory:
Starting off as a group of high-school misfits in the small town of Cedar Creek, Oregon, Dangerous Crime was formed in 2008 by its three original members: lead vocalist and guitarist, Jack “Razor” Reynolds, bassist, Tommy “Thunder” Mitchell, and drummer, Danny “Demon” Morris. Their shared love of rebellion and rock music brought them together, forming what would eventually become a symbol of defiance against the mainstream music industry. After years of playing local gigs and producing rough, DIY records, Dangerous Crime was discovered in 2012 by Maverick Records, allowing them to break into the national scene with their raw energy and unapologetic sound.
Genre:
Dangerous Crime’s music can best be described as a potent blend of punk rock and hard rock, with a hint of classic rock influences. The band delivers a powerful punch of rebellious lyrics, head-banging guitar riffs, and high-energy performances. Their distinctive sound is heavily influenced by bands such as The Ramones, AC/DC, and Guns N’ Roses.
Song Title:
“Dance with the Devil”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Em
In the dead of night, under neon light,
Am
I sold my soul for a wicked ride.
Em
Down the highway of sin, where the saints don’t win,
Am
I learned to dance with the devil inside.
(Chorus)
G D
Hey! I’m dancing with the devil,
Em C
Living on the rebel side.
G D
Hey! I’m dancing with the devil,
Em C
In his fiery eyes, I confide.
(Verse 2)
Em
In the pit of despair, I found solace there,
Am
Among the outcasts and the damned.
Em
In the heart of the fight, in the blinding light,
Am
I reached out and took the devil’s hand.
(Chorus)
G D
Hey! I’m dancing with the devil,
Em C
Living on the edge of life.
G D
Hey! I’m dancing with the devil,
Em C
In his dance, I found my strife.
