Thorough Slave

Backstory:
Emerging from the heart of London’s vibrant music scene, Thorough Slave is a quartet that found each other in the most unlikely of places – a midnight poetry slam. Lead singer and guitarist, James Elmore, was blown away by the rhythmic cadence and soulful passion of Dylan Keating’s poetry. Intrigued by the depth of his words, Elmore invited Keating to join him on an impromptu jam session. The pair were joined by the dynamic duo, bassist Tasha Jones and drummer, Oliver ‘Ollie’ Mulligan. With the four members coming together, the band that would later be known as Thorough Slave was formed.

Thorough Slave’s distinct sound is a product of their diverse influences. From Elmore’s bluesy notes, Keating’s insightful lyrics, Tasha’s jazz-infused bass lines, and Ollie’s rock-infused beats. Their music tells a story of resilience, passion, and the unyielding pursuit of freedom, a tribute to their band’s name.
