“Rusted Chains”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[A] I wake up on this cold, hard floor,
[E] My dreams are shackled, my spirit feels sore,
[D] I look in the mirror, what do I see?
[A] A man in rusted chains, yearning to be free.

(Chorus)
[E] Rusted chains, can’t hold me down,
[D] I’m a fighter, I refuse to drown.
[A] I’ll break these bonds, just wait and see,
[E] The man in the mirror, will finally be free.

(Verse 2)
[A] The world outside, it seems so cold,
[E] I’m trapped in my mind, the stories untold.
[D] The pain, the struggle, the strife,
[A] They’re the rusted chains, controlling my life.

(Chorus)
[E] Rusted chains, can’t hold me down,
[D] I’m a dreamer, I won’t wear a crown.
[A] I’ll shatter these walls, just wait and see,
[E] The man in the mirror, will finally be free.

(Bridge)
[F#m] This journey, it’s been so long,
[D] Through the darkness, I’ve found my song.
[A] And one day, you will see,
[E] The man in the mirror, finally free.

(Chorus)
[E] Rusted chains, can’t hold me down,
[D] I’m a survivor, I won’t wear a frown.
[A] I’ll embrace my scars, they’re part of me,
[E] The man in the mirror, he’s finally free.
