Backstory:
Formed in the coastal city of Santa Monica, California, Vigilant Coast is a band that draws its inspiration from the roaring waves and the beachside surfer lifestyle. Founded by childhood friends, lead vocalist Blake Henderson and lead guitarist Alex Hughes, the band came together during their college years in 2013. Joined by their college mates, bassist Danny Knight and drummer Ryan Smith, Vigilant Coast was born out of their mutual love for music and the vibrant energy of the beachside culture. Over the years, they have successfully carved their niche and are known for their powerful performances that evoke the spirit of the coast and freedom.

Lisa Matthews. Lisa has been an ardent fan of Vigilant Coast since their early days. As a fellow surfer, their music speaks to her soul and resonates with her love for the beach and the ocean. Their song “Sunset Over the Breaks” became her anthem and she hasn’t missed a single concert in California since 2015.
