Profitable Servant

Backstory:

Profitable Servant originated in the suburbs of Seattle, where four childhood friends discovered their mutual passion for music. Lead vocalist and guitarist, Charlie Dean, drummer Sam Morrison, bassist Luke Thompson, and keyboardist Raphael Garcia spent the better part of their teenage years tinkering with different musical styles in Luke’s basement. Each member had a different musical influence – from blues and jazz to classic rock and pop – which would later form the eclectic sound of Profitable Servant. After bagging the first place in a local battle of the bands competition, they decided to take their musical journey to the next level and thus, Profitable Servant was officially born.

Working part-time jobs to fund their music, the band spent their nights composing, practicing, and playing at local gigs. Their tenacity and unique sound soon caught the attention of an indie music producer who offered them their first record deal. From then on, Profitable Servant has been on a steady rise, captivating audiences with their harmonious fusion of genres.

Title:
“Chasing Shadows”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
E A
Living in a world, so hollow,
E A
Chasing shadows, with no tomorrow,
E A
Dreaming dreams, that are borrowed,
E A
We’re just time, that’s borrowed.

(Chorus)
E A
Oh, we’re all just chasing shadows,
E A
In a world that’s too shallow,
E A
With hearts that are hallowed,
E A
We’re all just chasing shadows.

(Verse 2)
E A
Running from the past, so narrow,
E A
Seeking solace, in a sparrow,
E A
With hopes that are harrowed,
E A
We’re all just shadows, that are borrowed.

(Chorus)
E A
Oh, we’re all just chasing shadows,
E A
In a world that’s too shallow,
E A
With hearts that are hallowed,
E A
We’re all just chasing shadows.
