Villainous Implication

Backstory:

Emerging from the shadowy corners of the music industry, Villainous Implication was born from a shared love of dark, provocative music and storytelling. Comprised of lead vocalist and guitarist Damon Blackwood, bassist Raven Nightshade, drummer Vex Thornheart, and keyboardist Moros Grim, the band formed in 2009 in the gritty underbelly of Seattle’s underground music scene. Unrivaled in their genre, their music strikes a powerful balance between the brooding and the exhilarating, a combination that has catapulted them to the top in a short period.

Their journey has been marked by a series of triumphs and setbacks. Nonetheless, the band has remained true to their dark, rebellious aesthetic. They’ve gained a loyal fanbase affectionately known as the “Implicators,” who have unwaveringly stuck by them through thick and thin.

Title:

“Midnight’s Embrace”

Full song lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Am – G – F – C
In the silence of the midnight’s embrace, (Am – G)
we dance with shadows, hidden from grace. (F – C)
Broken promises and whispered lies, (Am – G)
In our hearts, only darkness lies. (F – C)

(Chorus)
Em – D – C – B
We are the Villainous, in midnight’s embrace, (Em – D)
Thrive in the shadows, lost in the maze. (C – B)
Concealed in the darkness, we find our space, (Em – D)
In the silence of the midnight’s embrace. (C – B)

(Verse 2)
Am – G – F – C
Beneath the moon’s somber gaze, (Am – G)
We unleash our souls, lost in the haze. (F – C)
With every beat, and every sigh, (Am – G)
In the darkness, we come alive. (F – C)

(Repeat Chorus)

Testimonial:

Annie Rose, a longtime dedicated “Implicator,” had this to say about her favorite band, “Villainous Implication isn’t just a band, it’s an emotion, an experience. It’s about feeling seen, understood, and accepted, no matter how dark and twisted your inner world may be. Their music is raw, edgy, and gut-wrenchingly honest. It’s like they’ve put my deepest fears, my darkest desires into words and made it into something beautiful. I’ve been with them since their first gig in a dingy Seattle club, and I’ll stay with them till the end. They’re more than a band to me, they’re a lifeline.”
