Wobbly Airport

Backstory:
The origins of Wobbly Airport trace back to a small pub in the heart of Edinburgh in Scotland where four university friends: Nathan (vocals), Callum (guitar), Liam (bass) and Sean (drums) would meet regularly after classes to jam out and share their passion for music. After a few months of playing gigs at local venues, they decided to take their music to the next level. Hence, ‘Wobbly Airport’ was born, the name inspired from a late-night drunken joke about their drummer Sean’s fear of flying. They moved to London, working part-time jobs to fund their music, playing live wherever they could. They quickly gained a following with their energetic performances and unique sound, catching the attention of a record label scout at a gig in Camden.

Title:
“Under the Coloured Lights”

Full Song Lyrics:

Verse 1:
Am C G D
Under the coloured lights I see your face,
Am C G D
You’re dancing, swaying with a gentle grace.
Am C G D
I’m strumming chords, trying to keep the pace,
Am C G D
Our eyes connect, in this crowded space.

Chorus:
Em Bm C D
We’re just lost souls in the night,
Em Bm C D
Underneath the coloured lights.
Em Bm C D
Drifting apart, yet holding tight,
Em Bm C D
In this world of black and white.

Verse 2:
Am C G D
As the music fades, I see a tear,
Am C G D
In your eyes, it’s crystal clear.
Am C G D
The love we shared, it’s still here,
Am C G D
Under the coloured lights, my dear.

Chorus repeat:
Em Bm C D
We’re just lost souls in the night,
Em Bm C D
Underneath the coloured lights.
Em Bm C D
Drifting apart, yet holding tight,
Em Bm C D
In this world of black and white.
