Backstory:

Mealy Meeting was born in the heart of San Francisco’s bustling music scene, formed by four friends who came from various backgrounds but were united by their shared love for music. They met at a local open mic night, instantly connecting over their passion for creating unique, soulful melodies. The name ‘Mealy Meeting’ was cheekily coined from their late-night music jamming sessions, often involving copious amounts of corn-based snacks and tortillas. In the beginning, they performed on the city streets, using their music to breathe life into the urban environment. As their sound evolved, they began to gain a local following, eventually garnering the attention of record labels.

The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist, Bryan Greene, bassist, Sam Parker, drummer, Jake Martinez, and keyboardist, Lucy Thompson. Each member brings their own unique style to the table, resulting in an eclectic, vibrant sound filled with soulful harmonies and intricate rhythms.
