Backstory:
Leafy Quicksand originated as an ambitious project amongst four college friends, who discovered a shared interest in music during their history studies. Originally performing at inter-college festivals and local bars, the band slowly built a dedicated following. The band name, Leafy Quicksand, was inspired by one of their late-night brainstorming sessions. It represented a paradoxical state of mind that they often experienced – a state where one could be grounded and yet feel a sense of sinking, much like a leaf on quicksand.

Their big break arrived when they won a local band competition and were offered a recording contract. Now, they are a known name in the music industry, gaining popularity for their soulful music and thought-provoking lyrics. Their journey hasn’t been easy, but their shared passion for music and the incredible bond they share has kept them going in the face of challenges.
