Backstory:
Fast Assistance, a band hailing from the boisterous world of Chicago’s underground music scene, was formed in the fall of 2008. The core members of the band are a group of four friends who, during their time in high school, discovered a shared passion for music and a deep admiration for the punk rock ethos. The band’s name, Fast Assistance, is a nod to their collective childhood memory of a local auto repair shop’s sign, which ironically was renowned for its dreadful service. The band thought the name was fitting, as their music is intended to be an ironic commentary on the world around them, providing fast assistance to listeners in navigating the confusing and often chaotic journey of life.
