Backstory:
Only Bucket is a band that was formed in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee. The three-member band comprising of childhood friends, Jesse (Vocals and Guitar), Mick (Drums) and Kate (Bass and Vocals), found their shared love for music in their grandparents’ barn, where they composed their first melodies using an old guitar, a homemade drum kit, and a rusty bucket to create percussive sounds. The name ‘Only Bucket’ was born out of this humble beginning and the trio has stuck with it ever since.
The band spent their teenage years refining their style and writing relatable, heartening songs that spoke of their experiences growing up in the countryside. They earned a local fan base performing at small gigs and community festivals. Their unique blend of rootsy, honest lyrics and raw, energetic performances quickly grabbed the attention of a notable record label, propelling their local band status into the mainstream music scene.
