Backstory:
Raw Machinery surfaced from the narrow alleyways and crowded work spaces of a small industrial town in Pennsylvania. The band members, all blue-collar workers from various different trades, found a deep-rooted love for music amidst the sparks of welding torches and the hum of milling machines. They transformed their experiences and tough, rugged lifestyle into music. Sharing this unique musical journey, the band was naturally formed in the heart of their workplace. Lead singer, Tom “Rivets” Reed, an auto mechanic, along with steel workers Mike “Anvil” Anderson on drums, and Billy “Bolts” Baxter on guitar, along with plumber Steve “Wrench” Waters on the bass, became the unstoppable force known as Raw Machinery.
A chance gig at a local bar saw them discovered by a music producer who was home visiting family and their authenticity and unique sound skyrocketed them from local talents to national stars. Despite the fame, Raw Machinery never lost touch with their roots, often returning to their small town to perform free concerts for the community, and dedicating their music to the hardworking, underappreciated workers they once stood side by side with.
