Backstory:
Hailing from the bohemian heart of Portland, Oregon, Vapid Crystal was born out of an eclectic mix of passion, talent, and a yearning for musical experimentation. The band is composed of four members, each one bringing their own unique flavor to the group. The lead vocalist and guitarist, Jeremiah “Jem” Hawkins, and the bass guitarist, Lizzie “Fizz” Davis, were previously part of a moderately successful indie band, but they found the repetitive nature of their music unfulfilling. Longtime friends and fellow musicians, drummer Max “Mad Max” Elliott and keyboardist Gerald “Gee” Woodruff joined them to reshape their sonic identity and thus, Vapid Crystal was born. Their musical journey has been an exciting ride, bristling with challenges, electrifying performances, and a steadily growing fanbase. The band’s mantra is to never be confined by genres or conventions, and to consistently push the boundaries of their creative horizon.
