Backstory:
Formed in 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, Meek Existence is truly a band born out of chaos and isolation. Founding members, Ethan Young and Mia Watson, both moved to LA with dreams of making it big in the music industry but found themselves stuck in their apartments due to city-wide lockdowns. They met in an online songwriting workshop, and despite the distance between their apartments, they felt a connection through their shared love of music. Using the technology at their fingertips, they began to collaborate online and found comfort in their shared meek existence during the pandemic. They later recruited drummer, Jake Bennett, who was also participating in the same online workshop. Since then, Meek Existence has been delivering raw and moving tracks that perfectly capture the isolation, fear, and hope in these uncertain times.
