Sarcastic Policy

Backstory:
Sarcastic Policy is an indie rock band that broke onto the scene in the mid-2000s. The band’s origins trace back to the gritty streets of New York City where four college friends, lead vocalist Niall, guitarist Andre, bassist Steven, and drummer Derek, bonded over their shared love for music. They began as a garage band, practicing in the tiny, cramped space of their shared apartment, and slowly built their fan base through local gigs and online platforms. They gained nationwide recognition after their breakout hit “Rebel Melody” was picked up by a popular radio station. Known for their sarcastic and witty lyrics that comment on socio-political issues, Sarcastic Policy continues to leave a mark on the indie rock scene.

Title:
“Satirical Nights”

Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[G] Under the neon lights I find, [Em]
[C] Echoes of your laughter so unkind. [D]
[G] We’re chasing the satire of our time, [Em]
[C] In this parody called life, we’re intertwined. [D]

(Chorus)
[G] Satirical nights and sarcastic dreams, [Em]
[C] We’re dancing on the edge of broken regimes. [D]
[G] In this labyrinth of deceit and lies, [Em]
[C] We find our truth in satirical nights. [D]

(Verse 2)
[G] The world’s a stage, we’re merely players, [Em]
[C] Lost in the drama, forgotten prayers. [D]
[G] But in this chaos, we find our tune, [Em]
[C] Under the mocking, silver moon. [D]

(Chorus)
[G] Satirical nights and sarcastic dreams, [Em]
[C] We’re dancing on the edge of broken regimes. [D]
[G] In this labyrinth of deceit and lies, [Em]
[C] We find our truth in satirical nights. [D]

(Bridge)
[Em] In the heart of the jester, we find no jest, [C]
[D] Just a mirror to society, in unrest. [G]

(Chorus)
[G] Satirical nights and sarcastic dreams, [Em]
[C] We’re dancing on the edge of broken regimes. [D]
[G] In this labyrinth of deceit and lies, [Em]
[C] We find our truth in satirical nights. [D]
