Backstory:
Born and raised in the small logging town of Eureka, in the heart of California, the four members of ‘Lumbering Coalition’ found a common bond in their passion for music. The band comprises of songwriter and lead vocalist, Jake Harris, lead guitarist, Billy Thompson, bassist, Sean Miller, and drummer, Ricky Jones. The boys grew up together, their lives steeped in the rhythm of the logging industry and the tough, gritty spirit of their hometown. Inspired by this unique environment, they found solace and power in music, which eventually led to the formation of ‘Lumbering Coalition’ in 2013. Their sound reflects their roots – a rough yet melodic blend of rock and folk, an anthem for the working class.

Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am G F Am
Wake up in the morning with the sun on my face,
Am G F Am
Pick up my chainsaw, ready for the chase.
Am G F Am
The trees stand tall, like giants in the mist,
Am G F Am
Their voice is the song, I can’t resist.
(Chorus)
C G Am F
Chainsaw Symphony, in the heart of the wild,
C G Am F
Echoing the rhythm, of the lumbering child.
C G Am F
Roaring in the silence, cutting through the grey,
C G Am F
Chainsaw Symphony, we’re gonna play.
(Verse 2)
Am G F Am
Carving out the day, with every stroke,
Am G F Am
In the scent of pine, we find our cloak.
Am G F Am
Strength in our hands, and sweat on our brow,
Am G F Am
Chainsaw Symphony, take a bow.
(Chorus)
C G Am F
Chainsaw Symphony, in the heart of the wild,
C G Am F
Echoing the rhythm, of the lumbering child.
C G Am F
Roaring in the silence, cutting through the grey,
C G Am F
Chainsaw Symphony, we’re gonna play.
The Band’s Favorite Fan:
Our favorite fan is a guy named Mike Douglas from Sacramento. Growing up in a family of loggers, Mike was drawn to our music because it resonated with his own experiences.
