Frequent Rubbish

Backstory:
Frequent Rubbish was formed in the back alleys of Bristol in 2013. The band consists of four members: David “Dingo” Johnson on vocals and guitar, Rachel “Rach” Stevens on keys, Terry “T-bone” Smith on bass, and Sammy “Smooth” Davis on drums. They all shared a common love for music and a distaste for the mainstream, prompting them to start their musical journey together. Their name, Frequent Rubbish, was inspired by their initial practice location—a dingy back alley filled with trash cans. The name resonated with their low-budget roots and the raw grittiness of their music, and it stuck.

Title:
“Brittle Bones and Broken Hearts”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[G] Brittle bones and [D] broken hearts, [Em] standing tall in the [C] shadows.
[G] We are but mere [D] works of art, [Em] lost at [C] sea in the meadows.
[G] We sing our songs to [D] the midnight moon, [Em] our melodies [C] left unsaid.
[G] We’re trapped in time, [D] but we’ll break free [Em] soon, [C] from this life we’ve led.

(Chorus)
[G] We are Frequent [D] Rubbish, [Em] loud and free.
[G] Born in the shadows, [D] where nobody [Em] can see.
[G] We sing our songs for [D] the lost and lonely.
[Em] Our music is our [C] sanctuary, [G] our only.

(Verse 2)
[G] We wander through [D] life’s twisted maze, [Em] our hearts heavy [C] with sorrow.
[G] We set the world [D] on a gentle blaze, [Em] seeking a better [C] tomorrow.
[G] We’re not looking for [D] fame or gold, [Em] just a chance to [C] be heard.
[G] Our stories need to [D] be told, [Em] through every [C] single word.

(Chorus)
[G] We are Frequent [D] Rubbish, [Em] loud and proud.
[G] Misfits and dreamers, [D] lost in the [Em] crowd.
[G] We sing our songs for [D] the silent and broken,
[Em] To let them know they’re [C] not alone, [G] their pain unspoken.
