Naive Discussion

Backstory:

Naive Discussion was born out of a late-night dorm room jam session at the New York University. Frontman and lyricist Keegan Shaw, a Literature student, found himself drawn to the moody guitar riffs of his roommate, Music major Ethan Rossi. They quickly discovered their synergy and added the versatile rhythm section of Journalism major, Sara Ross on drums and Art student, Leo Patterson on bass. Dubbed “Naive Discussion” as a tongue-in-cheek reference to their initial, carefree approach to music and life, they quickly found their niche in the bustling New York music scene, their thought-provoking lyrics and catchy tunes resonating with listeners.

Their chemistry sparked an unexpected evolution in their sonic identity, fusing their diverse interests and backgrounds together. The band’s sound has matured over the years, their music gaining depth and nuance. Yet, they’ve maintained their humble beginnings, holding tight to their roots and the friendships that forged their path.
