Creepy Memory

Backstory:
Creepy Memory originated from the mysterious and foggy city of Edinburgh, Scotland. The band was formed in 2011 by childhood friends Ian McAllister (Lead Vocals), Liam Campbell (Guitar), Neil Douglas (Bass), and Ross McDonald (Drums). The boys grew up together, sharing a common passion for music, eerie stories, and the uncanny mystery of their historic hometown. This blend of ancient Scottish folklore, love for music, and an obsession with the supernatural gave birth to the band, Creepy Memory.

They started off playing local gigs, gaining a cult following due to their unusual yet captivating tunes and narratives. Their spectral sound, combined with the haunting lyrics, quickly caught the attention of the underground music scene. Creepy Memory’s journey from performing in small-town pubs to sold-out concerts in the biggest venues has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride.

Genre:
Creepy Memory pioneered what is now known as Gothic Folk-Rock, a genre that combines the somber storytelling elements of folk music with the energy of rock and the darkness of the gothic subgenre.
