Backstory:
Cuddly Jail is a group of high school friends who broke onto the music scene in 2011, hailing from the idyllic town of Asheville, North Carolina. The four members – lead singer and rhythm guitarist Jasper Stone, lead guitarist Isaac Fern, bassist Miles “Milo” Carter, and drummer Nia Carter (Milo’s younger sister) – grew up together, sharing a love for music and an unusual passion for humorous, quirky band names. They chose “Cuddly Jail” during a late-night brainstorming session, inspired by Milo’s old teddy bear trapped behind a pile of crates in the basement where they practiced.
In their early days, they performed at local bars and high school parties, slowly drawing local attention for their unique sound. Their big break came after they won a local talent show, catching the eye of a small record company executive who was visiting the town. Since then, Cuddly Jail has been on an upward trajectory, with their music reaching audiences far and wide.
