Curvy Roof

Backstory:

Curvy Roof was born out of a shared desire for creativity and an unquenchable thirst for music. The five-piece band from London, England, came together in the bustling heart of the city’s underground music scene in 2017. The lead vocalist, Zoe Collins, had been trying to get her solo career off the ground when she met guitarist, Liam Spencer, at an open mic night. Their chemistry was undeniable, and they quickly realized they shared a similar vision for their music. Recruiting bassist, George Martin, drummer, Celeste Nichols, and keyboardist, Oliver Brooks, the lineup was complete. They named themselves Curvy Roof, inspired by the quirky architecture in their hometown, symbolizing their refusal to conform to traditional musical norms.

Genre:

Curvy Roof is best known for their experimental blend of Indie Rock and Folk.

Title:

“One More Day”

Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Am G C F
Underneath the curvy roof, we found our way,
Am G C F
Lost in the rhythm of the words we couldn’t say.
Am G C F
Your eyes were the mirrors to my heart’s dismay,
Am G C F
I knew from the start, I’d beg you to stay

(Chorus)
Dm E Am C
One more day, under the curvy roof, we’d play,
Dm E Am C
Laughter and tears, twirling in disarray,
Dm E Am C
One more day, with your love as my array,
Dm E Am C
One more day, to make everything okay.

(Verse 2)
Am G C F
Our whispers were the songs, the stars would obey,
Am G C F
In the falling twilight, our secrets on display.
Am G C F
Will you remember me, when the skies are grey?
Am G C F
Promise me, darling, we’ll meet again one day.

(Chorus)
Dm E Am C
One more day, under the curvy roof, we’d sway,
Dm E Am C
Our dreams and fears, woven into the fray,
Dm E Am C
One more day, watching the sunset’s array,
Dm E Am C
One more day, if only I could delay.
