Disgusting Concert

Backstory:

Disgusting Concert was formed in 2013 in the heart of New York City. The founding members, lead guitarist Scott Blackburn and drummer Benji Hughes, were high school friends with a profound affection for edgy and unconventional music. They loved the idea of challenging musical norms and pushing boundaries. They decided to form a band that would go against the grain and create music that was raw, bizarre, and unforgettable. They later added bassist Lisa Russo to the mix, whose funky and audacious style perfectly complemented the band’s vision.

The band began by playing in underground clubs and house parties, gaining a small but dedicated following. Their reputation was built on their energetic performances, distinctive music style, and the genuine chemistry among the band members. Despite the name, their concerts were anything but disgusting. They were electrifying, exhilarating, and absolutely unique, making Disgusting Concert the rising stars of the underground music scene.

Song Title:

“Filthy Echoes”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
A [Em] world in chaos, we’re [G] living for the thrill,
[D] Lost in the noise, but [Em] can’t have our fill.
[Em] Echoes of insanity, [G] resound in the night,
[D] We’re dancing with madness, [Em] under the city light.

(Chorus)
[A] They call us disgusting, [Em] but we don’t care,
[D] We’re rebels with a cause, [G] breathing the polluted air.
[A] Our music is our voice, [Em] loud and free,
[D] We’re the filthy echoes, [G] in this concrete sea.

(Verse 2)
[G] Caught in the rhythm, [D] lost in the sound,
[Em] We’re the kings and queens, [C] of this underground.
[G] They may not understand, [D] think we’re out of line,
[Em] But we’re just living, [C] in our own time.

(Chorus)
[A] They call us disgusting, [Em] but we don’t care,
[D] We’re rebels with a cause, [G] breathing the polluted air.
[A] Our music is our voice, [Em] loud and free,
[D] We’re the filthy echoes, [G] in this concrete sea.

Fan Testimonial (Zack):

Zack is a longtime follower and fan of Disgusting Concert. He saw their first live performance in a dingy New York club and instantly fell in love with their raw and rebellious sound. “There’s something so genuine and bold about their music. It’s not just about rebelling aimlessly. It’s about challenging the norms, questioning the status quo, and making a statement. In a world full of fabricated pop tunes, their music is a breath of fresh air. It’s raw, it’s real, and it’s unapologetically them. That’s why Disgusting Concert is my favorite band.”
