Backstory:
Free Coat was formed back in 2010, when a group of college friends from Boston, Massachusetts, were jamming together in their dorm. They had a common love for music and a shared dream of making it big one day. Driven by their passion, they started playing in local gigs and started gaining popularity in their city. The unique name ‘Free Coat’ was inspired by the time when the band was struggling financially and they found a free coat on a park bench. This coat was worn by each band member on different days to keep warm during the harsh winter. They took it as a sign of good luck and decided to name their band ‘Free Coat’.
