Utter Average originated from the bustling city of Manchester, England, in 2013. The band comprises of four members – Raymond “Ray” Thompson, who leads the vocals and guitar, Sarah “Sassy” Jones on the drums, Christopher “Chris” Moore on the bass, and Emily “Emmy” White on the keyboard and backup vocals.
