Pungent Bowl

Backstory:
Pungent Bowl originated from a small town in New Jersey. Its core members, Danny “Dank” Reynolds and Harry “Hammer” Jefferson, met in high school where they discovered a shared passion for a unique blend of music that brushed on the edges of punk, grunge, and blues. After years of late-night jam sessions in their parents’ basements, they decided to form an official band upon graduation, and Pungent Bowl was born. The band, over the years, added two more members: “Lightning” Lisa Baldwin on the bass and “Raucous” Roger Smith on the drums. Together, they have created a distinctive sound that has resonated with fans across the globe.

Title:
“Scent of the Storm”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
C#m7
In the quiet before the tempest brews,
G
There’s a scent that the storm imbues,
A7
A scent so fierce, a scent so bold,
Dm7
Reminds me of the love I’ve sold.

(Chorus)
G
Scent of the storm, where have you flown?
C#m7
To the places our hearts have known,
G
In the tempest, we’re not alone,
A7
With the scent of the storm, we’ve grown.

(Verse 2)
C#m7
Raging winds, the thunder’s roll,
G
Echoes the beat of the pungent bowl,
A7
In the chaos, we find our soul,
Dm7
Burning bright, wild, and whole.

(Chorus)
G
Scent of the storm, where do you roam?
C#m7
In the spaces between our home,
G
In the tempest, we’ve found our tome,
A7
With the scent of the storm, we’ve flown.

Fan Testimonial:
My name is Pete “Pitstop” Miller. I’ve been a fan of Pungent Bowl since their early basement jamming days. Their punk-blues fusion hits me in a way no other band does. Their raw energy, profound lyrics, and the insane talent of each member make them unmatched in today’s music scene. “Scent of the Storm” is a personal favorite of mine. It speaks to the heart of anyone who’s been through storms in their life, and yet somehow, found growth and strength in the chaos. It’s hard to describe, but their music feels like coming home after a long, turbulent journey. Pungent Bowl is more than just my favorite band – it’s an intrinsic part of my life.
