Quirky Impulse
The story
Quirky Impulse formed in the heart of Los Angeles back in 2012. Childhood friends, Todd "Ink" Hanson (lead vocals, guitar), Eliza "Lizard" Grand (bass, backing vocals), Brian "Buzz" Appleton (drums), and Jerry "Jazz" Klein (keyboard, backing vocals), found themselves constantly drawn together by their shared taste in music and a yearning to create something unique. They started in small gigs, lugging their equipment around in a beat-up van, embracing the struggling artist stereotype. Quirky Impulse found their break in 2015, when their performance at a local music festival garnered the attention of an influential industry executive, who saw potential in their quirky and unique sound.
