Round Cycle

Backstory:
‘Round Cycle’ was formed in the heart of Manchester, England, in the golden year of 2008. The band started off as a fun side project for childhood friends, Caden Barnes and Noel Simmons, who discovered their shared love for creating music while playing in their high school band. Their passion for music deepened as they grew older, and it wasn’t long before they recruited their fellow schoolmate, Avi Thompson, to join them on drums. With Barnes on lead vocals & guitars, Simmons adding depth with his groovy bass lines, and Thompson providing the rhythmic backbone, the trio quickly developed a unique sound that captured the attention of their local music scene.

Their breakthrough came in 2010 when their demo caught the ear of a record label executive during a Battle of the Bands contest. Despite not winning the contest, they were offered a record deal, and since then, they’ve been on an upward trajectory, captivating audiences worldwide with their infectious energy and raw talent.

(Verse 1)
[C]Walking along the seashore, [Em]footprints in the sand
[F]Thinking about the old days, [G]guitar in my hand
[C]Memories are fleeting, like [Em]waves upon the shore
[F]Can’t help but start believing, [G]I’ve been here before

[C]Your laughter in the wind, [Em]echoes in my mind
[F]A love that’s ever binding, [G]the rarest kind to find

[F]In this endless journey, [G]with the ebb and flow

[C]Circles in the sand, [G]underneath the moonlight
[Am]Leading me back to, [Em]where we began
[C]Circles in the sand, [G]can’t fight the daylight
[Am]Our love story written, [F]by the sea’s hand

(Outro)
[C]So here’s to us, [G]and to the sea
[Am]To the circles in the sand, [F]and our shared memory
