In the depth of the shallow end, (Am)
I find myself again, (C)
Surrounded by the echoes, (G)
Of what could have been. (D)

Finding comfort in the sorrow. (F)

Against the tide, we fight, (Am)
With all our might, (C)
But the currents of reality, (G)
Pull us back into the night. (D)
