Zigzag Tin

Backstory:

Zigzag Tin was formed in a small garage in Seattle, Washington, in 2006 when four high school friends decided to channel their shared passion for music into something tangible. The quartet comprised of Alan “Al” Jenkins on vocals and rhythm guitar, Carl “C.J.” Johnson on lead guitar, Billy “Bassman” Thompson on bass, and Rick “The Beat” Mitchell on drums. The band quickly gained popularity in their local scene due to their energetic performances and unique sound.

Over the years, the band has faced its share of trials and tribulations, breaking up and reuniting several times due to creative differences. However, they’ve always found their way back to each other. They recently celebrated their 15 year anniversary with a sold-out concert in their hometown.

Genre:

Zigzag Tin plays Progressive Rock with traces of Alternative Metal.

Song Title:

“Silver Threads”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Em C G D
Woven in time, like silver threads,
Em C G D
Unseen by the world, but not by us.
Em C G D
The echoes of our laughter, the tears we’ve shed,
Em C G D
They create a tapestry that’s worth the fuss.

(Chorus)
G D
Through the zigzag of life,
Em C
We’ve found our way.
G D
In the noise and the strife,
Em C
The music, it’ll stay.

(Verse 2)
Em C G D
The rhythm of our journey, the melody so sweet,
Em C G D
The harmony of friendship, the song of our beat.
Em C G D
In the silence of the night, under the starlight so neat,
Em C G D
We found our tune, and it’s no small feat.

(Chorus)
G D
Through the zigzag of life,
Em C
We’ve found our way.
G D
In the noise and the strife,
Em C
The music, it’ll stay.

(Bridge)
C G D Em
The silver threads, they bind us together,
C G D Em
Through stormy weathers, through forever.

(Chorus)
G D
Through the zigzag of life,
Em C
We’ve found our way.
G D
In the noise and the strife,
Em C
The music, it’ll stay.

Fan Testimonial:

My name is Melissa Santos. I first discovered Zigzag Tin when I was going through a tough time in my life. Their music spoke to me in a way that nothing else could. The raw emotion in their songs, the lyrical depth, and the passion with which they play is simply unparalleled. I’ve been to countless concerts, own every album, and even have a tattoo of their logo. Zigzag Tin isn’t just my favorite band, it’s a part of who I am.
