Backstory:
In the gritty underbelly of Seattle’s grimy rock scene, Nasty Hand was born. The band was formed in 2010 by lead singer and mysterious recluse, Sid Garrett, and drummer, Max “The Masher” Malone. Both found themselves jobless and in a state of discontent with their lives. Sharing a mutual love for music, they decided to channel their frustration into creating a unique sound – a chaotic symphony of angst and rebellion.
In the beginning, the duo performed at dingy bars and small venues, slowly gaining a dedicated following with their raw, unfiltered music. Their chance encounter with bassist Leo “The Lion” Hartman in 2012 added a new depth to their sound, completing the unholy trinity that is Nasty Hand. Their music, much like their story, is an amalgamation of their shared experiences, struggles, and their unending quest for authenticity in an industry often driven by commercial interests.

“Embers of Anguish”
Full song lyrics:
(Verse)
C Am Em G
Walking down, this endless road,
D Am Em G
Feeling cold, heart’s gone cold.
C Am Em G
Life’s bitter taste, on my tongue,
D Am Em G
No more songs, left to be sung.
(Chorus)
C Am Em G
Embers of Anguish, burn in my soul,
D Am Em G
Echoes of laughter, pay the toll.
C Am Em G
Washed out dreams, under the rain,
D Am Em G
Nasty Hand’s playing, life’s cruel game.
(Repeat Verse and Chorus)

Testimonial:
“I’ve been to countless gigs over the years, seen all sorts of bands, but nothing – and I mean NOTHING – can compare to the raw energy of a Nasty Hand concert. Their music isn’t just a bunch of chords and lyrics; it’s a ride, a rollercoaster of emotions – like a punch in the gut. It’s real and painfully honest. Sid, Max, Leo – they aren’t just musicians; they’re poets, rebels, the voice of our generation. I’ve been a fan since their first gig at The Ratskeller, and I’ll be one till the end. Nasty Hand isn’t just my favorite band; they’re a way of life!”
