Ideal Protest

Backstory:

The roots of Ideal Protest trace back to a small neighborhood in Los Angeles, California, where four friends – Alex, Jack, Naomi, and Allen – discovered their shared passion for music. Plucking away at garage sales bought guitars and banging on old drum sets, they breathed life into their dream in the form of raw, unfiltered music. They found their voice in the socio-political issues that plagued their city and the world, using their songs as a medium to express their outrage, despair, and fervent hope for change. Their passionate performances at local gigs rapidly gained them a dedicated following, and they soon became a symbol of rebellion and resistance, giving rise to the band name, ‘Ideal Protest.’

Song Title:

‘March of the Voiceless’

Full Song Lyrics:

Verse 1: [Em, G, D, A]
(Em)
In this city of silence, where the walls have ears,
(G)
Where justice is blind, and the truth disappears.
(D)
We’re the unheard whispers, we’re the unseen scars,
(A)
Shouting out loud, ‘neath these indifferent stars.

Chorus: [C, G, D]
(C)
We are the Ideal Protest,
(G)
Marching for the voiceless,
(D)
With our hearts on our sleeves,
(C)
Unafraid to be reckless.
(G)
We won’t be silenced, we won’t be tamed,
(D)
We are the Ideal Protest,
(C)
Remember our name.

Verse 2: [Em, G, D, A]
(Em)
In a world of chaos, where the mighty rule,
(G)
Who’ll stand for the weak, who’ll be their tool?
(D)
We’re the unsung heroes, we’re the forgotten tales,
(A)
Rising from the ashes, against the gory gales.

Repeat Chorus

Favorite Fan’s testimonial:

“My name is Sam, and Ideal Protest is my favorite band for countless reasons. I’ve been listening to them since their early days, playing at local gigs. I was instantly drawn to their raw energy and their fearless stand on issues that most people prefer to turn a blind eye to. Their music resonates with my own beliefs and their song ‘March of the Voiceless’ especially, speaks to me on a personal level. Ideal Protest is more than just a band to me, it’s a movement, a rebellion, and a beacon of hope.”
