Orderly Hour

Backstory:
Orderly Hour was born out of a shared love for music among four college friends – Tyler, Nate, Josh, and Mike – who were architectural students at the University of Washington. It all began as a hobby, with jam sessions on Friday nights after grueling weeks of design projects and model-making. The band’s name, ‘Orderly Hour’, was inspired by the structured routines they had in their lives as architecture students, with the only moment of freedom coming during their music sessions. The band gained popularity due to their unique sound and sincere lyrics, which resonated with many. In 2018, they decided to pursue music full time, dropping out of college a semester before graduation.

Title:
“Blueprint of Our Hearts”

Song Lyrics:

Verse 1: (E-Am-D-G)

E Am
Walking down this lonely street,
D G
In the silence of the night,
E Am
We found a rhythm in our hearts,
D G
Underneath the pale moonlight.

Pre-Chorus: (C-D)

C D
Concrete dreams in our hands,
C D
Guided by stars, we made our plans.

Chorus: (G-D-Em-C)

G D
We are the blueprint of our hearts,
Em C
Drafting love, tearing apart.
G D
In the order of the hour,
Em C
We found our power.

Verse 2: (E-Am-D-G)

E Am
Skyscrapers of ambition high,
D G
In the chaos of the crowd,
E Am
We built our fortress in the sky,
D G
Shouting our dreams aloud.

Pre-Chorus: (C-D)

C D
Ink and paper, steel and glass,
C D
In the orderly hour, we let the moments pass.

Chorus: (G-D-Em-C)

G D
We are the blueprint of our hearts,
Em C
Drafting love, tearing apart.
G D
In the order of the hour,
Em C
We found our power.

Fan Testimonial:
“I’m Lisa, and I’ve been a fan of Orderly Hour since their early days. As an architecture student myself, their music isn’t just a sound to me; it’s an experience that encapsulates my life. Their lyrics have a depth that I connect with on a very personal level. It’s not just about the love and heartbreak, but also about the struggle and triumph of being young, ambitious, and dream-driven.”
